Aspen

Aspen is favorite American snow ski resort for a week-long stay. Its four separate mountains have something for every ability of snow skier. Its just great.

Aspen have lot of snow ski abilities, you just have to pick right slope.

There are four peaks in Aspen. Each is big enough to keep you amused fora full day or more.
Getting around between areas is easy and cheap. For 3$ you can have your equipment ferried from one mountain to another overnight.

Aspen Mountain is accessible by Silver Queen gondola from a village. In general on Aspen Mountain there are long cruising blue runs and short steep black down from the ridges.

Snowmass is a separate resort west of Aspen, opened in 1967.There are free shuttle buses between here an Aspen. Many of Snowmass runs are wide sweeping cruisers, but there is also lot of toughest terrain

Buttermilk
is the least challenging mountain. The runs from here leads in three directions
It is ideal for intermediate keen progress.

Aspen Highland was, until 1993 separately owned. There are a lot of intermediate snow ski slopes along the ridge itself and steep black runs on the flanks-very steep ones at the top.

Aspen don't have snow problems, annual average of 300in of snow.Plus all areas have substantial snowmaking.

For all level of snow skiers there are plenty of fun and slopes!
For experts there are Olympic bowl,Gent's ridge, Sam's Knob and numerous other places.Intermediate level of snow ski skiers will have fun on Snowmass&Aspen Hihglands, and Buttermilk is perfect for a beginner's fresh start.

Aspen is also full of Apres Ski bars, shopping centers, sport clubs, ski schools, bars, and restaurants which makes them the best snow ski resorts in the States.
